PROFILE OF CHRISTOPHER LARGENT
Consultant, Professional Mentor, Manager
Over the last thirty years, Chris Largent has consulted to companies large and small, public and private. During that time, he also served as a professional coach to hundreds of businesspeople. He has been a bank branch manager, a customer relations manager, a marketing manager, co-owner of a publishing house, a hypnotherapist, and a trainer to businesses on diversity, communication, writing, logical thinking, problem solving, time management, crisis management, stress management, and conflict resolution.

Chris has taught philosophy and comparative religion at the University of Delaware half-time for thirty years and has lectured all over the United States, Canada, and England. He has given seminars at the New York Open Center, the Omega Institute, the School for Practical Philosophy in New York, Chicago’s Crossroads Center for Faith and Work, the Global Structures Convocation in Washington D.C., the Foundation for Global Community in Palo Alto, the Global Renaissance Alliance in Seattle, the Art Institute in Philadelphia, the Meadows (Arizona’s nationally known trauma and addiction treatment center), the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics, the American Society for Quality Management, and the World Business Academy. He recently lectured on the underlying structure of the Constitution for the Global Renaissance Alliance Citizen Lobbyist Training in Washington D.C.
Chris was chosen as a "scholar of merit" to participate in the "Cosmic History" seminar at the University of Pennsylvania, occurring monthly over a decade, discussing with other thinkers the future of American culture.
Author of many magazine articles and a published poet, he also co-authored three books, including the pioneering book on business and values, THE SOUL OF ECONOMIES, praised by many thinkers, including the Dalai Lama, Willis Harman, Huston Smith, Charles Tart, Ravi Batra, famed Russian poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko, and Stephen Covey. His other two co-authored works are THE PARADIGM CONSPIRACY and LOVE, SOUL, AND FREEDOM, praised by Marianne Williamson, Vine Deloria, Jr., Russell Means, Barbara Brennan, and Brad Blanton. He also contributed to the Feuersteins’ VOICES ON THE THRESHOLD OF TOMORROW and Marianne Williamson’s IMAGINE. He was chosen by Rodale Press to do an article — along with world spiritual leaders — for the highly regarded 9/11 work, FROM THE ASHES: A SPIRITUAL RESPONSE TO THE ATTACK ON AMERICA.
